KB Blocks

 WordPress blocks are the building blocks of the Gutenberg page editor. They allow users to create rich content layouts without any coding knowledge. Each block represents a specific type of content—such as text, images, videos, or galleries—that can be easily added, customized, and rearranged within a page or post. Learn More

Choose Between KB Blocks and Shortcode:

a) KB Blocks
  • Choose this option if you use WordPress blocks for your pages.
  • Use KB blocks to display your Knowledge Base and use Gutenberg block editor to customize it.
  • KB Custom Block Template is also available with KB Blocks. The template requires at least WordPress 6.7 and use of block theme.

b) KB Shortcode
    • Choose this option if you use page builders such as Elementor and Divi.
    • Use the KB Shortcode to display your Knowledge Base, and customize it using the KB Configuration admin page.

Our plugin enhances your WordPress experience by introducing specialized KB blocks tailored for creating and customizing your KB Main Page.

We also offer blocks, such as KB Search and KB FAQs block, that can be on any pages beside KB Main Page.

Important Notice for KB Block Users

The following KB pages do not use KB Blocks:

  • Users utilizing the KB shortcode on the Main Page
  • Article Pages
  • Category Archive Pages

The following steps can help you to switch to KB Blocks:

1. You need to have a theme that supports blocks i.e. if you create a new page, you can see block editor with KB blocks.

2. Edit KB Main Page

3. Remove KB Shortcode from the KB Main Page

4. Add KB Search block and KB layout block based on your shortcode settings such as KB Basic Layout.

5. Manually update KB Search and layout block settings based on your shortcode settings
